As an architecture design studio, EDRM works closely with their clients to make thoughtful and beautiful spaces in which to live, work and experience. We are passionate about spatial connections, distinctive design and attention to detail to create buildings that are contemporary yet responsive to existing contexts.
EDRM engage in a range of project types including extensions, refurbishment and conversions of existing properties, work on period and listed buildings, spatial interventions, arts projects, architectural products, and new build homes. We have a wealth of both design and practical experience and pride ourselves on our ability to deliver projects to a very high standard.
We offer a friendly and personal service that can be tailored to our clients' specific aspirations and budget. As well as working with individual clients, we often collaborate with other architectural practices and designers on projects of various scales.
Ellie studied architecture at the Bartlett, University College London and the Oxford School of Architecture before working in a design-led London practice. Ellie also completed an MSc in History of Modern Architecture at UCL. Alongside architectural practice, Ellie has taught in design studios at the Oxford School of Architecture and University Campus Suffolk.
Richard studied architecture at the Royal College of Art and the Oxford School of Architecture before working and freelancing for a number of design-led London practices. Richard has extensive experience of residential design and construction. Prior to studying architecture he completed an apprenticeship in bricklaying and worked as a general builder for a number of years where he gained a wealth of practical experience.
